Yep, have to go with the gorilla.
MA is a monkey.
Illinois is a chimp.

You know damn well the gorilla game rules.
Sheeesh.
Buy and hold the gorilla.
Calls on CA are clearly in order here.

It appears the great state of Texas wants to challenge California for gorilladom.
The rule here is that if you do not know who the winner will be, you have to buy them both. TX is clearly an underdog, but it pays to be safe. CA and TX are clearly in the running here. Has NY checked in yet? We might have to buy calls on three states if their numbers are equally good.

Flooded with applications from jobless workers, unemployment insurance funds in Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota and Texas are on the brink of -- or already deep into -- insolvency.

Well, Texas has got it covered according to Molly Ivens:

Duck and cover! They're back!

Whee, here we go, the Lege is back in session! And many a village is missing its idiot. The 78th biennial disaster is upon us, and what glorious fodder to feast upon.

Our peerless leaders are faced with a $9.9 billion deficit (almost twice as high as previously estimated) and billions in mandatory increased spending, so the new Republican majority is busily planning to solve this crisis by (A) outlawing same-sex marriage, (B) giving more legal protection to fetuses and (C) knocking gay Texans out from under coverage by the hate crimes act. This is tremendously useful of them.
