I did find that quote funny Rose. It's as if the entire system will fall apart when the big guy retires....as if no one can possibly be qualified. Truth is, what the Fed does is rather elementary, but what Greenspan is good at are his long monotone mumbling speeches, using soothing words, twisting and confusing, stating the obvious, and totally boring the audience with his brilliance. It's a big con game after all. Phil
