Endoscopies and AMAT? I'm recovering from a routine endoscopy. Part of it was implanting a pH transducer in my stomach which telemeters readings to a receiver. What that brings out is how ubiquitous chips have become. They have become so cheap that, to my relief, I don't have to retrieve it after it has done its duty (poor pun intended). I also assume that cellphones are verboten because they would interfere with many transmissions in hospitals.
