Weather Update. Several hundred miles off the California shore, the polar jet stream sweeps almost due North. Then it curls to the East, passes above the Canadian coast, and after inland plunges south. While I feel sorry for those experiencing the refrigerator, I'm basking in the balmy. The front door is wide open. Cats strolling in and out. Parrot's squawking on a yard perch in the warm sun. Better half is tending blooming flowers. Enjoying it while it lasts. lurqer
