my takeaway from Morgan Stanley's Stephen Jen

Supply of foreign financing will fall. A large C/A deficit alone does not imply that the USD will weaken. The C/A balance captures the demand side of the external financing picture. The supply of foreign financing is equally important, and I believe it will decline in 2003.

supply is a concept often overlooked in numerous settings
e.g. dollars, bonds, debt, gold, foreign stock buying
