Jack, I think he has made it even worse.

All through 2001 Fed officials and government

luminaries were ON THEIR KNEES begging Americans

to spend and dig themselves deeper into debt and

NOT TO SAVE. As a result households and businesses

added a whopping 1.9 trillion dollars in 2001. I'll

leave you to compute 2002, everything at zero %

financing and still U.S. manufacturing isn't

competitive at zero % interest rates. It's scary

and the debt liquidation/overcapacity cycle will

last years.

It's a little thin - after having fought a losing anti

recession battle on the newswires for two years - to

come up with an economic plan that most Americans

realize will help few and slam deficits and debt on

the rest.

Bush has increased the public debt by 750 billion in the

last 19 months.
