there is truth to the idea that a lot of people in this country are always looking for a way to make everything wrong in the world our fault. I think some of this feeling comes from sheer disillusionment. When cherished ideals of an honest, caring government are shattered, a tendency to smear the entire power structure exists. I also believe in "as ye sow, so shall ye reap," sometimes called the law of karma. What are we reaping as a nation these days? What we are sowing is fairly obvious. I love America. I love what she stands for and how she has been traditionally a beacon of hope in a bleak world. I must say, though that I am deeply disillusioned lately by the extreme secrecy of and media manipulation by our leadership.
