Just look at Canada. People do not own as many guns and fewer people are killed by guns.
I don't have statistics at hand, but I know it is true. I lived in Canada. We rarely locked our
back door! We never worried about crime although someone broke into a neighbor's house and
stole a few items.

Did you see the film, "Bowling For Columbine?" I believe it was in that film that Michael
Moore noted the difference between the number of people killed by gun shots in Detroit
compared to the number killed in Windsor, Ontario, which is across from Detroit. Only
a few people were killed on the Canadian side.

Did you see the film? I enjoyed the film. After the film ended, people stood up and clapped.
