I met Jay on this thread, and we became "internet friends". Our children and families (and ourselves) were close in age, we had similar episodes with aging parents, we enjoyed trading, albeit Jay did this as a vocation and I do it as a hobby.

Jay was the only trader that I have ever met personally, he was gracious enough to invite me to visit while I was attending a wedding near his home. We enjoyed each other's company for several hours, and his children entertained us, both of them with fine talents.

Jay was dedicated to his family; his trading always took a back seat to anything that his children required; he cherished his children and his wife, Laura. They faced challenges together and met them head on and he approached life with enthusiasm, sincerity, and a wonderful sense of humor.

I am so grateful that I was able to spend that time with Jay, and I am so numb and confused by his death, and I grieve for the loved ones he leaves behind, and for the traders who shared good times and friendship with him.

The world is now less than what it was last week.

I am totally speechless. I can't beleive this. The manner of his passing is so surreal...

He was one of the FINEST human being I've ever known.

I feel so bad for his family...
