the kurds now also know that any talk of "kurdistan" is just Happy Yapping designed to sucker them - as long as turkey is an american ally. meanwhile afghanistan is continuing to spin into fresh chaos while the real terrorists continue to sit fat and happy shuttling between riyadh and nevada whorehouses. what a f'en mess. don't even want to get started on this schism rumsfeld is creating in nato. i don't care what the sod thinks, those comments of his were just plain stupid. does he really think it will help him get his way? i said before this administration is more Nixon II than Bush II. rumsfeld and powell and oh my god kissinger (amongst many others) where part of an adminstration that totally screwed up vietnam and imo were directly responsible for untold horrors in that part of the world. (no, they are not alone in bearing that responsibility.) a more arrogant, cynical bunch we couldn't have "elected"...
