Dow Theory (classic sell signal triggered)

stockcharts.com[m,a]dac...

A Bear market Sell signal is determined in much the same way, but opposite to a Buy Signal. When a Bull market tops and sets back, and the subsequent rally that goes back up (again, over 3%) and falls short of reaching the previous high and then penetrates the recent lows on the next decline as measured by both the Industrial and Transportation Averages, a SELL Signal is generated indicating a Bear market.

The above classic SELL (S-1) is outlined as follows:
1. Market Highs
2. Pullback
3. Bounce (to below the highs)
4. Break down (below pullback)

My view is a retest of the October lows is the best case scenario.

Max, I would like to get a better understanding of the count on the 3 knocks rule. The Xau hit 81.18 yesterday again, just like last July. Is that one knock or two? Does the breakthru happen during the third knock or does it pull back before going through it?
