I disagree. To say the govt. should not interfere is a bad example. Govt. makes decisions every day that affect our lives and safety, including the protection of the defenseless...Unborn children fall in that category.

I know why I think it is evil. It is obvious to me it is destroying, murdering a human life. Our American founding fathers agreed all men were created equal. So to suggest killing another human being or not is a PERSONAL Moral decision seems clueless to me. The above is obvious to me from my understanding of Americanism. My Catholicism is 100% congruent with that truth of Americanism. Germans called Jews non human and exterminated them by the same logic used to suggest murdering a child is a PERSONAL Moral decision. There are sever sentences in the Koran that suggests infidels are also not really human. Thus 3000 Americans were aborted postpartum on 911. Is the underlying logic any different. IMHO, you have a very poor understanding of what Catholicism teaches.
