SC, Re: America seems to be rapidly losing interest in this matter. From what I've seen here, most Americans don't WANT to know what really happened I'm afraid that you are probably correct. Just judging by the reaction of posters here on SI, it becomes obvious that right wing partisans are more driven by ideology than by a need to know the truth. A truth which is very painful. That our government is currently engaged in a aggressive coverup of its role in the 911 tragedy. Re: Did you see the Parade interview where Rumsfeld admits a missile hit the Pentagon? I won't go so far as to say that this slip of the tongue is the "smoking gun" that proves that a cruise missile was aimed by the Department of Death at its own headquarters. But it is telling piece of circumstantial evidence that corroborates a fascinating and compelling body of evidence that is being exposed that the "official" story of the attack on the Pentagon is a total fabrication. Re: You have to read the entire transcript, though. Of course, the vital quote was excised from the article. What I would love to figure out is how to get this important information into the minds of millions of Americans. The right wing propagandists have done a terrific job of usurping our media, particularly hate radio, and fill the minds of the naive with lies, half-truths and distortions. As you suggest, millions of Americans are comforted more by these myths than by the truth. -Ray
