Mike As I stated in my post to you, the my friend gave me the info on Ho. I will ask him his sources when he returns and report to you. Ho Chi Minh was expecting that Vietnam would receive its independence from France and Roosevelt concurred it was the right thing to do. However, he capitulated to Britain and the State Department. He made many erroneous concessions that were probably attributable to his failing health. Anyway, that info I posted in a post from earlier today. Karen.
