This is incredibly sad.

A terrible act of self-loathing.

The veracity of many of the quotes used in that Rolling Stone article is open to question. While it appears that there are probably a few misguided thrill seekers, it is unlikely that it is even remotely near the number suggested in the article. That doesn't change the fact that there are some people in need of psychiatric counseling, but that would probably still be true if this epidemic did not exist.

If this guy is so intent on killing himself, I'll loan him the means to do it and save everybody the trouble of listening to such rubbish. He hates not only himself, but every other human, and life itself.

Could this possibly be a call for help or a fund-raising device?
