There's hole in the floor of heavens....

He'll be watching over you....

Quickly, without battling with pain....surrounded by loved ones reading overnighted letters from other loved ones....

thats how i'd like to go....

May he find peace....

Oh Clappy, I am so sorry...Uncle Jerry is a big loss to your families. Hopefully the fond memories of him will wash over you all like a wave during this time of sadness and make you smile when you think of him.

Rob

Clappy,

Sorry to hear that, but glad you got your letter to him, and glad he didn't suffer longer.

"Because we die our death in this life, because we are continually taking leave, continually disappointed, ceaselessly piercing through realities into their nothingness, continually narrowing the possibilities of free choice through our actual decisions and actual life we die throughout life, and what we call death is really the end of death, the death of death."

– Karl Rahner

"Death is an endless night so awful to contemplate that it can make us love life and value it with such passion that it may be the ultimate cause of all joy and all art."

- Paul Theroux

" Death is only a launching into the region of the strange Untried; it is but the first salutation to the possibilities of the immense Remote, the Wild, the Watery, the Unshored."

- Herman Melville
