I am not understanding you then.
1. Is israel mercenary state? if so please define what you mean.
2. Isnt it a principle of FP that democracies support one another? Israel stiil a democracy, no?
3. Isnt peace in mideast a US interest regardless of oil for a variety of other reasons?

Does mercenary state mean we are paying israel to attack palestinians? Kibbutz experience on your part doesnt make this less of an anti israel remark. Certainly enough anti-american if your are in fact charging thats what we pay them for.
