That is probably the line of reasoning Bush's team will use to explain the shape of the mkts and business, and he will lose. Because the technology industry was in better shape in 1991 when his father was in office than now. Every small world event is a major catastrophe for Bush, causing enough uncertainty to put a freeze on hiring and spending, and the mkts to fall. Korea for example, everyone else is able to negotiate with Korea but with Bush you get the sense there's a looming war here. CFOs say no hiring because we're going to war with Korea!! Bush is a loser, he has caused such an incredible amt of damage its hard to believe.
