well if that is true (and I hope it is)- what was the cost fo that to the taxpayers and business. I mean this stuff needs to be considered. If this is an attempt to scare Saddam Hussein into exile is it absolutely necessary in the middle of a very weak recovery? How about wait a year and see where the economy is then, vs driving more deficits after the worst stock market in 30 years? And how about Ari Fleicher and his "regime change" and "it only takes one bullet" rhetoric. Anybody think that is a good idea? Does that give business a warm and fuzzy feeling about hiring? Is that adding to or detracting from the feeling foreigners have about the US. Its amazingly bad judgement really.
