I remember very clearly how W.T. Grant died suddenly in the early mid-70's. Shortly after they went on a massive store building spree. Being young and naive in the ways of the business world I wondered "How could that happen?". I then began to realize that the debt burden that they had taken on to expand buried them. That lesson served me well during the late 90's market mania.<g>

A note about compusa...they have one of the worst rebate processing records in retail...if you think you're getting a deal there and it involves a mail in rebate...don't hold your breath.
