Shack, do you still have a chart of your count? (major up wave in early feb after this shakeout)...

On that chart, does it look for a more resounding bottom in 2004, or do you go that far out?

(Read on another thread) apparently large amount of puts on QQQ 24/25 for Feb, and monster load in March....this plays well with your C bounce (starting in early? Feb) idea, no?

Its probably too neat and tidy, but a war bounce makes sense to me, as well the disappointment post-facto when none of our economic problems have gone away (after patriotic pump)..

I've seen no expert that believes there is any way U.S won't win (and quickly), and as much as I don't like such absolute hubris (heard a soldier say the other day, "we're the U.S., we ALWAYS win"), I do hope for our country's/world's sake they are all right (hubris be damned)....to me, that's not really the big(ger) issue..its post-Saddam Iraq that is much trickier....try Afghanistan x10..
