jimsioi, sorry for the late reply. stupid question time: is it likely the rand is tracking the PoG? it's a peculiar situation: great earnings in falling dollars, more expensive operating costs in rising rands... also, Steve Saville has a stop on HMY @$15.79, but, was talking about raising it if stock moved up, which it hasn't. he's indicated he'll let his majors hit their stops and focus on the juniors. the golden grail, for me, is to get in the right juniors, where, in time, the div yield exceeds my cost basis. thanks for your insights, good stuff. larry
