How many times have you heard his name in the last month.

How does mentioning him in speaches help us catch or kill him?

More importantly, the focus of this administration is Saddam. It doesn't mean that no one is addressing the OBL/al Qaeda issue but its a pretty good indication.

The work to get either OBL or Saddam will be done at a much lower level then the president or senior administration officals. All that the administration has to do is lay the ground work and get the ball rolling. They have done that for OBL, and people who get paid less are trying to execute the plan. With Saddam the ball hasn't really started to roll yet.

The priorities haven't shifted, if getting rid of terrorism is the goal, not just Al qaeda. Al Qaeda has gone into hiding, and is trying to regroup. Now is the time, while we are waiting for Al Qaeda to come out of hiding, to counter the other causes of terrorism. Senate Democrats, such as Lieberman and Murray, who have seen the evidence, agree that it exists, that Saddam should be gotten rid off, but differ with Gw on how and when. Other dems, such as Kerry, Hillary, and the peace marchers, seem to imply that there is no connection, because they haven't seem the evidence yet, and assume GW doesn't have it. They could be right, but I consider it unlikely. It would seem strange that Al Qaeda would have organizations in 40 states and none in Iraq, especially after Saddam offered them asylum during Afghanistan. And Saddam has been sheltering other terrorists, such as Nidal etc. So to expect that Gw won't be able to make a connection some way, somehow, would seem disengenious. Secondly, Saddam is a known supporter of Palestinian terrorist organizations, so why are the dems supporting someone who supports murdering women and children. That is the danger the dems have. That the public will connect the murdering in this country through abortions to the killing of children in Israel. You seem to be endorsing both. And isn't that primarily why Gw has stated we are after terrorism, not just Al Qaeda,, to stop the killing of all innocents, not just Americans.
