Al, Fox is owned by Murdoch, the ultimate conservative." But maybe you where replying to Alighieri's post in isolation and not in the context of the ongoing conversation. In other words you where not pointing out Murdoch's being conservative as "something to back that generalization up". It was my understanding that the quality of the Fox Channel was somewhat ancillary. I thought Al was pointing out that Ailes was a Rep. strategist in order to show why FOX has a conservative bent. My post was to point out to Al that there was a better reason for that bent: the channel is owned by Murdoch. As for quality, I don't have a clue......I've never watched the FOX's cable news channel. ted
