saddam was going to have the bomb in the early 80`s and in 1981 the Israelis blew up saddam`s nuclear reactor , and the UN and Europe condemmed them publicly, and thanked them privately.. Churchill was ridiculed for years trying to get england to come around to his views that they had to fight WW2.. i hope that is true and we deal with that problem today, not putting it offf till another day when they have developed more sophisticated means or delivery systems.. << puts a new spin on why the french have firepower in the area...it's not for saddam, it's for the US... >> roflmao
