I believe they terrorize because they cannot draw attention to their problem thru peaceful means....either because they just can't as their demands are not acceptable to the other party, or because they don't deserve any attention anyway... Of course then by the time they succeed in getting attention, the attitudes on both sides have hardened......which makes negotiation more difficult than it was before... My husband would say that on occasions when he doesn't hear me, I pick up a fight and make him hear me. <g> i may be wrong...and it may just be me...although I do think its human nature....
