The post they supplied as an explanation was all they felt was required as the reason. They do not want to hear excuses from JLA. They want an apology and a simple, "I won't do it again". It's a respect thing for them and they will have their pound of flesh if they don't get it.

It can be a cold cruel world at times but that's life!

If you won't even give the suspendee your reasons, who can they know what they did that was wrong so they can correct their behavior? And if you refuse to justify your actions to anyone, is this not arbitrary power?

Sounds like you are describing a certain president whom you applaud when he does these sort of things.

It is not often that one gets to see such delicious irony.
