Slider..

<- again; I do not think the average citizen fathoms the level of non-public intelligence that Bush is moving on and the degree of threat that
the Free World & America faces from this growing plague of organized Global Terrorism.

Bush knows the reality of the threat and how close that threat is to taking action at unprecedented levels... and that's why we are doing
what we're doing....because unless we want multiple Sept 11th level events - or worse; we have no choice, but to act.>

What do you base these opinions on, when we have seen zero evidence? I have been waiting to see something, anything in the way of evidence that Saddam poses an imminent threat to us. I hesitate to believe everything my politicians tell me...."just trust me" seems to be a very dangerous course here.

We have maintained a military presence in the area since the last Gulf War, and with inspectors on the ground, I think Saddam is fairly well contained. We should wait him out, and find a way to aid the Iraqi citizens in the meanwhile.

I think we run the risk of unleashing chaos in the region, and potentially fueling the growth of terrorism by removing saddam and occupying Iraq. It would seem the one way to unite the various Arab factions, would be to give them an enemy they can all rally around.

Thanks, Scott
