IMO, Senator John Kerry makes a lot of sense... Message 18489632 I would feel A LOT safer if we had Kerry as President right now (and hope to see him get elected in '04)...Kerry is a former war hero and understands what war is really like....He also is a BIG believer in a multi-lateral approach to dealing with global challenges. regards, -s2

Breaking up the USSR did not lead to democracy there. It led to an unstable society where crime is prevalent, mafia rules and women are forced into prostitution so the family can survive. shit... that sounds vaguely familiar. - crime is prevalent - mafia rules - women are forced into prostitution. you sure you not talking about something a little closer to home? and this was a rational society. i suppose it was. definitely as rational as ours. and let's add religion to the mix. hallelujah, praise the lord. talk about fervent man. tell me, what's the difference between east and west? which is the more righteous? which hates more than the other?
