Chinton, good thoughts IMO.

There hasn't been a warrior clan in the history of humanity that hasn't thought god was on their side.

Lots of folks out there in the world consider the west to be a cult that worships sex and money. Our media sure doesn't help to dispel that belief.

Truth is it's all about money, and the impact of cheap energy on our economies.

P.S. regarding free speech being what really sets us apart. I've seen believable stuff that says there are three factors - Capitalism, Scientific Method, and Democracy that have allowed western societies to excel.

don't wreck your health and life reading this sometimes R rated thread! sounds like You are just too sensitive to be reading posts that talk about war. my family members got here between 1620 and 1650 (yes one of them was on the mayflower), so i think you should get back over here from hiding out in italy and get a job with the john edwards, ambulance chaser, campaign for regular people (those who take metamucil?).
