I bailed on my EOG & DVN yesterday, from this point I will be looking for a reentry point into some drillers.

Taking losses to start the year is not the way I wanted to start the year.

I will hold CRK until $15+ and that may be it for me and E&P's. E&P's are just a vehicle to transfer money to service Co.'s & drillers.

Dabum, >>>I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the XNG looks like it's topping out. Most indicators are turning negative. It broke through support at the 10 dma. It looks like the 30 day ema should provide support, but a breach of that line is a clear sell signal.<<<

I've noticed. For about two weeks now energy stocks have disappointed to say the least.

Is it war jitters, is it general market weakness, is it looking ahead to shoulder seasons, is it multiple contraction?

I don't know, but why bother with it if it's broken? Shorts and puts have been the call for a few weeks now. I'm wary of the bounce many punters are now expecting, but I don't see much risk of a large or long lived bounce - so I'm staying bearish.
