Interesting stuff on the Faux News money clowns today. The Capitalist Pig recommended FAX, which makes sense. Then one of the other goofs says, "it's a closed end fund. They trade at discounts. And you can't know what's in it." Fortunately, the Pig tried to give the boob a little education. Such as, why would you want to pay full price when you can buy at a discount? He didn't mention the fact that you know as much about what is in a CEF as you do an open end fund. It is amazing at the amount of pure technical idiocy (not knowing how things operate as opposed to opinions on what is going to happen) is present on these shows.

Jimmy Rodgers didn't appear this week on Cavuto Makes Stupid Predictions That Never Come True. Forbes had a faux debate, appropriate for Faux News Hetwork, about national health care, with all the Forbes geeks against. Duh!

The general atmosphere was more bearish, but only for the very short term. The economy is turning around and profits are good. Meanwhile, there is some chance the economy actually went negative (it was definitely negative without the hedonic pricing of computers) and nearly all of the earnings miracles were after huge writeoffs. Fun, fun, fun.
