Yes, the best thing for any investor to do is notice trends. The anti-gold ewavers have continually been wrong is one trend. One day they will be right and say I told you so, but being right by being wrong and staying with it, until it turns to right, is just BS. The second and potentially more powerful trend is the commercial short bunch. They have been wrong this gold bull right from the get go. I think they are just starting to feel some pain. The same bunches seems to understand the principals of down markets and the effects of fiat money, but don't seem to get it re gold. Guess we all have our phobias.
