No, that's not what I said. I said, that post-invasion, Tibet has benefited from China's economic development after the invasion. The same can be said of the American conquest of Mexico -- those parts of the U.S. that WERE Mexico are better off than those parts that aren't and Mexicans who are in the United States have benefited from America's prosperity. That is a different statement than "Mexicans prefer having California in the United States."
