somebody pointed out that when outflows hit late last summer the funds started taking on debt rather than dissolve positions. i still have a couple of extended family members who won't get out of these damn things, i'm worried they'll wake up one day to find the fund just...poof...gone.

anybody know which fund families are in the worst shape?

Joan, I thought Cliggett came on like Clark Kent, not Superman. "Whatever % range of your portfolio you have allocated to stocks should be kept at the low end of that range." And that's Wall Street's top bear. <g>
