Perhaps, but who could have done more? Her? Her husband? John Kerry?

What does it matter who can have done more? The point is its not being done. If there were any question that things are not still screwed up, the alleged recent border crossing of 16 would be terrorists that turned out to be bogus put that to rest.

So then, your question should be why isn't the job getting done?

You have to keep in mind this criticism is from the wife of a man who

- had a clear opportunity to have taken Bin Laden into custody and refused to do it, apparently because of the political entailments associated with such action;

- foolishly allowed Saddam Hussein to de facto eject UN weapons inspectors;

- entered into a weak agreement with NK under which we were blackmailed by NK, only to find that NK continued its nuclear development program and now has developed nukes, the Jeanie is now out of the bottle.

She is the wife of Bill Clinton; that does not make him and her the same person. In fact, I would venture to say they think and act very differently.

The poll that matters is when Americans are asked:

"Who do you trust to protect you from terrorism, Bush or the Democrats?".

The American people will never, EVER answer this question "the Democrats". Ever.

You think? I don't know.....who thought two years ago that Bush's popularity would drop by nearly 40%?
