LOL, well that is one way to tell, but to be nice, you could suggest the simple method that only newbies don't know. Read the header message and see what topic if any are requested by the thread creator to not be discussed. But I do understand. A newbie will always be a newbie if you hold their hand on the simple stuff.

Go back and read 348000 posts and then you can come back and lecture us on what is properly on and off topic on this thread.

Actually, it is exactly because of the huge number of posts here that I am tilting at the windmills of off topic posts.

I enjoy the thread but would like to be able to skip the considerable amount of personal and/or OT posts.

No lectures, just the suggestion for a common courtesy found on many other threads.
