Well if I was rich I would buy stuff in America. There are so many stunningly beautiful places in America that I don't think I would have the time to visit them all.

Now I might go to the Olympics and I would go to the Worlds Cup, but I don't think that would represent a lot of money.

And if I was going to buy an airplane, I trust American technology. But a consumption tax would apply to cars and other goods bought in this country from anywhere.

I donot see it at all as regressive.
