the shorts that shorted amzn missed an incredible dump on friday.

If I were short here I think I would short the naz index and not try to pick individual stocks because those that are the most "overvalued" (amazon being one, maybe ciena and some others) are actually exhibiting strength as leadership stocks. We didn't have that in july/oct, then it was a mass selloff of anybody and everybody. Now there is isolated strength in some smaller stocks so unilateral shorting will not make you money.
