Another "no top yet" indicator may be that most of the smaller Canadian juniors I follow have yet to regain the highs from last year. At least, I expect a double top in the better-quality parts of the "speculative" sector before the final top is in for this move. Following are what I would consider excellent examples of cupping or inverted H&S formations from quality juniors, and I would be very surprised if last year's highs are not regained in these issues:

finance.yahoo.com

finance.yahoo.com

finance.yahoo.com

All that said, I have not been putting any fresh cash in the PMs, instead increasing my tech short position (via USPIX). Currently 72% PM.

regards,

crusty

Fascinating the two year comparison there. I certainly have been much more in the HUI rather than the XAU (thank God)

But now I feel I have gone beyond the HUI.

I wish somebody would start a Canadian Explorers index.

Following that would much more reflect my reality (and I suspect I am not alone).

Maybe call the it the Claude Cormier Index (CCI)
