Dan, <Yes, they made what would happen abundantly clear when they suggested their customers order with the phrase, "supersize me.">

A subliminal way to make consumers verbally sign a waiver? ;-)

Re: I couldn't believe someone was trying to blame McDonald's for their obesity......

Yes, they made what would happen abundantly clear when they suggested their customers order with the phrase, "supersize me."

Truth in advertising......what more can you ask for? <g>

I have to tell you......a couple of months ago, I was getting my car brakes fixed and it was taking much longer than expected. Finally, about 2 PM, I was starving and the only place to eat within walking distance was McDonalds. So I went over and ordered a milk shake and fries.....couldn't handle eating their mystery meat burgers.

I hadn't been to Mcdonalds since I was in school. Let me tell you the fries and milkshake tasted so good, I almost ordered another round. Thankfully I didn't.......about two hours later, the aftertaste was so bad listerine wouldn't get rid of it. I don't know the chemicals they put in their food but forget the carbos, the chemicals may well be life threatening. <g>
