didn't that ms kb paper i posted to you the other day talk about turning the icon off and on via tweakui?

if you hide it and things don't so good, then unhide it.

depends on how bad you are bugged by the icon. the other day you were bugged enough to post a few times about getting rid of it.

seems to me that tweakui can get you out of what it gets you into.

i could be wrong.

UNC is an acronym for Universal Naming Convention. If you're not networking you don't need it.

Format:
\\machinename\sharename

It's used to access files, printers and other devices on a network.
