I can't let it pass. I have long been peeved about McDonald's hot coffee. In fact around here it is so hot you can't drink it. Stella might not have been so bright. But what businessman in his right mind would make a product intended to be consumed so hot it could give a person 3rd degree burns. Also, think about it. They knew that when it is served through the drive thru it has to be passed to the car and often around in the car. And of course the lid is aways securely fastend, we can count on that. They know that if a person wants to add sugar and milk they will have to open the container increasing the possibility of a spill, especially in a car.

It is idiotic to absolve McDonalds of blame for being so irresponsible. Is the customer supposed to assume that coffee is so hot that it will give them 3rd degree burns. Apparantly at McDonalds they are.

I never order coffee from Mc Donalds. I just ask for OJ instead.
