Hg- you'd better not go see that movie. it would be too scary for a writer to watch. especially if she is wont to get depressed. it was a great one for editors though. the editors in the movie all won! i might have succumbed to the intensity myself except i put a piece of popcorn on top of kath's head while she wasn't looking. every time it started to get intense i'd turn to her and see the popcorn piece sitting on her hair like a miniature puffed hat and i'd start to giggle. fortunately, she never got wise to it and it stayed there all through 'the hours'. in the end, it fell off as we got up to leave. she muttered something under her breath. it sounded like, "you bastard shit guy!" -the end
