I respect the United Nations. I respect the United States. And I wish dearly that the United States will respect the United Nations.

Look if they've really got the bad stuff and the UN agrees that same exists, well then action is needed. But just go get the stuff, without invoking war on everyone in the nation of Iraq. Once the bad stuff is gotten, get out. Taking over other nations, without UN support, violates international law, plain and simple.

I don't understand why so many people want Bush to do to Iraq what Iraq did to Kuwait.

I'm pretty sure that if the inspection team found a fully constructed nuke on the outskirts of Baghdad, that you would present the case that President Bush personally placed the bomb there to frame Saddam. And this would no doubt cause you to remember to send in your monthly donation to the families of the Muslim martyrs of Sept 11.

The fact is, the Iraqis have been in violation of UN resolutions for several years now and the ball is in their court to clear that up. To use legal parlance, the burden of proof is on *them* not us.
