>>> I don't believe that the UN has the best interest of the US at heart. I therefore do not believe that the UN gets to decide what the US decides to do to protect itself.<<<

Well, Bush needs a lot more support in the US if he's gonna go that route. Right now, I think you've got to agree he hasn't proven his case. And he can't go to war with only the Republicans on board. That'd be wrong.

What is the US protecting itself from? THe UN is a referee that can assess the fairness of the motives.

Before the US goes to war with a country in order to protect itself it first must prove there is a real threat..............not just the creation of an illusionary threat..............it must be real and it must be proven without a shadow of a doubt before ANYONE's life is risked whether it be the life of an American or the life of an Iraqi.

THe AMerican people need facts not rhetoric and a stream of emotional displays by Bush.I don't care if he's "fed up" or has lost patience................I WANT FACTS AND I WANT PROOF!! Nothing less will be satisfactory!!
