Look, this thing about the US wanting the oil is a bunch of Iraqi propaganda BS .. get it right!! war has always worked to bring the US out of economic downturns .. See .. our current weapon buildup is about ten years old. We need to replenish our national arsenal. We can't do that right now because of our economic situation. People just wouldn't stand for the extra military spending. BUT if we were at warrrrrr ....... we would be able to burn up all the old stuff and order fresh new toys and the sheeple would pay for it! Factories start humming again and everybody goes back to work! Japan builds roads and bridges .. we make war.
