China will soon become the world's largest Internet and information economy, surpassing the United States, the president of one of the Chinese government's two main telecommunications companies predicted Saturday.

By 2008, China will have between 200 million and 300 million Internet devices and millions more users, said Edward Tian, China Netcom Corp.'s chief executive and a pioneer of the country's Internet revolution.

Hi Bob--OT OT (but not politcal) The procedure was an endoscopy and the placement of the transmitter. I hardly remember it because I was put to sleep. After a very easy recovery from the analgesia, I didn't know the thing was even there. I had to correlated my behavior with the readings by writing activities in a log, but that was also effortless. I have doubts about its utility even tho the readings were good. However, part of the out-of-control medical cost issue is exemplified by what I had. My insurance was paying for it, the MD recommended it, so--why not? I am aware that someone is paying for it.

We'll see if its useful.
