The list of brutal, repressive countries that have gassed its oponents and invaded a neigboring country is much shorter.

While you're obsessing over the oil angle, pleaase recognoize that France and Russia have a lot more to gain from the oil fields of Iraq than we would.

Did you know that France's Total Fina was established to produce oil in Iraq for export ? That's one of the few jewels left for France. They won't let it go easy now, dont ya know!

By the way, you could save the western world a lot of bloody oil if you'd stop flying so much! ( Just a little suggestion - I know how concerned you are about not exploiting other countries for their oil... )
