You make some very sound logic in your analysis. I tend to agree with you on the time frame. We will see a domino effect happening once when our boys go marching in. Deep down the avg. Iraqi is not going to lay down his life for Saddam. I think that we will take the Oil fields to the North First. I believe that the Turks want some Freebie Oil along with Four to Six Billion dollars off the IMF loanbook.

On another note, France is not eager to go in as they might have the most to lose if Iraq is gone. Elf/TotalFina has Billions of dollars on the books with Saddam to develop fields. They see it slipping if we liberate the oil fields and let Exxon move in.

Interesting Times we live in, thanxs for your contribution.

i think you are delusional..do you know how many army officers saddam has killed?

<<Ask yourself "If I were a mid-level Iraqi Army Officer or gvmt official, would I want to position myself as a die-hard Saddam backer in a post GW2 Iraq?" Imo you'd have to have a poor grasp of reality to make that choice. Sure, there will be some who want to self-destruct with Saddam, but they will be countered & largely neutralized by the much larger number who want to live & prosper with their families in post-Saddam Iraq.>>
